The Royal Motel sign on Rt.11 next to the Airport Plaza. While it is no longer functioning as a motel and the property is for sale, it is one of the few remaining remainders of the pre-highway past that still can be seen clinging to life, if barely and no doubt will soon be gone to so called progress as Rt.11 becomes Erie Blvd north. and just another faded memory.
